On 23rd March 2022 Mr. Bulu Behera was invited by Mr. Sanjay Shewde- a ration shop dealer of Godhani Railway Station, to organize a stall on organ donation at Godhani Railway Station Nagpur.

Mr. Bulu Behera went to the venue and organized a stall with MOHAN Foundation’s banners, donor cards, broachers and standee. Mr. Bulu Behera met the visitors who came near the stall and  introduced himself, explained them about organ donation and gave them information regarding the below topics:

• Who can donate organs?
• What is the age limit for organ donation?
• After a person is declared as brain dead, what are the next processes to donate organs?
• Within what duration of time the tissues should be donated?
• Information about MOHAN Foundation and its activities was discussed
• Information about  donor cards was shared
• Importance of MOHAN Foundation’s helpline number was discussed.

Questions asked by the visitors were as follows:

• After organ transplant how long a recipient can live?
• Which organs and tissues can be donated to the needy?

Around 30 visitors visited the stall, 9 of them signed the consent form.
