On 7^th March 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited to meet children and women members of ARISE NGO at Perumbakkam, Chennai.  The NGO works on women health and children education of the residents of the tenements there. The women had drawn rangoli on organ donation and the children had make posters on the topic. Around 10 women and 20 children were present  in the evening for the session. 

The Inner Wheel Club Verve, President Ms. Mahalakshmi and Ms. A.T Sunitha Transplant Coordinator of Dr. Kamakshi memorial Hospital were the other guests.  The children gave a demonstration of their knowledge on organ donation. One child spoke of donation of hair to help children with cancer.  Ms. Sunitha spoke to all about organ donation. She said she came to know of the subject when she was in college and appreciated that the children studied the topic in their school days.

Mrs. Mahalakshi appreciated the rangoli done by the women and presented them with gifts.  The prize winners were given gifts of coloring items.

Dr. Hemal Kanvinde of MOHAN Foundation thanked Mrs. Nimmi Chellappa and Mrs Chitra  of ARISE  NGO for taking the topic of organ donation as part of their children education activity.
