Organ Donation Awareness during 5-day Apurva Vigyan Mela at Nagpur |
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Association for Research and Training in Basic Science Education (ARTBSE) organized the Apurva Vigyan Mela from 15th-19th December 2021. The 5-day science exhibition was held at Rashtrabhasha Bhavan, Ambazari Road in Nagpur. The Central Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari was the Chief Guest. Mr. Paramjit Singh invited MOHAN Foundation to put up a stall during all 5 days to create awareness among the students and other exhibition visitors. Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation put up a stall with banners, standees, information brochures, pledge forms and donor cards. The highlight at the stall was the Life before Ashes exhibit featuring human organs modeled using real human ashes, strongly illustrating the importance of organ donation. The stall received many visitors and was a great opportunity to reach a huge number of people.
