Tune in as Ms. Jaya Jairam (organ recipient and Project Manager at MOHAN Foundation) busts numerous myths about organ donation. She will also address social stigmas and taboos and talk about health concerns and discuss life after transplant'. 

Ms. Anuradha Varma, a journalist with Indian Express interviewed Ms. Jaya Jairam and the event was aired on Facebook live on 27^th August, 2021.

• For those who feel slicing and dicing of the human body after death is not religious, what is your advice for them?

Ms. Jaya Jairam thereafter shared her own personal story of how an act of kidney donation by her own mother saved her life 11.5 years back. She shared the emotional trauma that she and her family underwent when she was coping with kidney failure and also while considering donating a kidney to save her life. She also shared how meeting other families who had been through similar circumstances helped a lot. Thereafter she shared about how her kidney transplant gave her an excellent quality of life.
