On 7^th April 2021, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help the Poor Foundation was invited for setting up an information desk to give awareness about organ donation, Diabetes and complete check up camp at RK City bus & Star bus depot worker’s. The program was inaugurated by Mr Tarique Raza (President of JCI Nagpur)

The information desk was manned by Ms Prarthana Dwivedi at the entrance of Depot. All the arrangements and crowd management was supported by JCI Team member’s of Nagpur who took this initiative to spread awareness among general public.

Ms Prarthana also held an awareness session later. She introduced MOHAN Foundation, and then explained the concepts of organ and tissue donation, types of death viz. cardiac and brain death and the organs and tissues that can be donated. She elaborated on the procedure for bone donation, which was a new topic for the participants. She also explained to the group how donation of skin and eyes can happen even at the residence after the persons’ demise. Informative flyers were also distributed to the public.

All the members of JCI participated in the campaign. About 200 visitors were reached during the event and around 40 people got registered as Organ Donors.
