On 15^th December 2020, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross - Punjab , Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for Red Cross Instructor at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. It was the part of the First Aid Training Course. Around 15 instructor from different districts of Punjab participated in the session.

Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.

The following topics were discussed during the presentation -

• Eye donation & Blood donation
• Organ donation statistics in India
• Myths about organ donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Organ donation and its types – Live & Deceased donation
• Importance of the donor card
• MOHAN Foundation’s mission & vision

After the presentation informative brochures were given to participants and 5 donor cards were picked up by the participants.
