On 15^th Feb 2020, MOHAN Foundation was invited by RTO Wadala office for giving awareness about the Oran Donation to the learners coming for applying Driving license. Mr Nitin Tambe represented MOHAN Foundation for giving awareness.

Mr. Nitin held few frequent awareness sessions and introduced MOHAN Foundation, its mission, vision. He is introduced the concept of Organ and tissue Donation. He also explains the type of death viz. Cardiac and Brain Death and the Organ and tissue that can be donated. He also described the tissue donation (Skin & Cornea) can happen even at home which caught attention of the staff. He discussed about the Organ Donation that can happen in case of Brain Death case and number of lives that can be saved. He then addressed about the myths about Organ Donation public has & how we can debunk them by illustrating the real facts about Organ Donation. Also they were invited to join in our volunteering program. He also insisted everyone to pledge for Organ Donation and show willingness to become Organ Donor by consenting it while applying for Driving License. About the 30 people attended the awareness session. About 10 pledges were taken & few were fill online. We thank Mr Jaykumar, Mr Shinde and Mr Navel for inviting us and supporting the cause of Organ Donation.
