As part of public education series for Organ Donor week, an awareness talk was organized by MOHAN Foundation at General Post office, Hyderabad on 8^th August’12 by 4.00 pm. Around 65 employees attended the session. MOHAN foundation representatives and group were welcomed by Chief Post Master General Ms. Karuna PIllai, who spoke about the importance of organ donation to the group and shared the endorsement of her family and herself for the cause. Talk on Organ donation was delivered by Mr. Bhanu Chandra, MOHAN Foundation. His detailed talk made employees understand the importance of the subject. The session was followed by a talk on eye donation given by representative from L.V Prasad Eye Institute. The session came to a close with Ms. Maria Thomas, Director, Indian Postal Services proposing Vote of thanks to Foundation for sensitizing people about the cause. The employees pledged for organ donation by taking donor cards.
