On 5^th April 2019,  Mr. Akash Salve of MOHAN Foundationwas invited for attending & coordinating conference held by ZTCC (Zonal Transplant Coordination Committee along with Neuro Trauma Department of Ruby Hall Clinic (PUNE), SNCC,ISCCM organized an Organ Donation workshop for the transplant coordinator along with medical & paramedical staff related to transplantation.

 The first session was conducted by Dr. Zirpe, mainly focusing on the advanced transplantation along with the organ donation awareness statistic.

In the other session the member of the Neurocritical care unit of the Ruby Hall Clinic covered about the legal aspects related to the transplantation and how to improve the process of the transplantation. They also covered the general awareness of organ donation, and how to change the mindset of the people towards organ donation it will leads to increase disease donation rate in India.

Topics covered the use of the advanced technologies in transplantation and several models were shown to the all the participants. The uses of the technology that leads to better prognosis and early recovery of transplant recipient patient was also discussed.

Skill activitieswere carried for the participants and role play was shown about the grief counseling with stages of grief so that transplant coordinators can counsel the patient in a better way.

Lastly the panel discussion was organized for the participants to solve their queries related to transplantation and how to improve the organ donation rate in India.

Certificates were distributed to the all participants.
