An awareness talk on Organ Donation was organised at QUADS, Adyar, on 21st June 2012. Ms. Veena, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, made a 30-minute presentation on the concepts of organ and tissue donation and the growing need for organ transplantation in the country.

A brief summary about the activities of MOHAN Foundation was also given. The participants interacted well and shared their views on articles on organ donation published in the newspaper. Participants raised queries regarding organ allocation, ischemia time and contact details in case of an emergency or trauma. The speaker cleared their doubts and shared organ donor stories after screening promotional videos on organ donation. 

At the end of the talk, all the staff members pledged for a Donor Card and carried home additional cards for their family members.
