Presentation on Organ Donation at Guru Nanak Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Sector-30 B, Chandigarh

On 24^th December 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, NSS Program Officer, Guru Nanak Khalsa Sr. Secondary School, Sector-30 B, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their students at the NSS camp of their school. Approximately 90 students from class 12^th and 2 teachers attended the session.

Participants were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and brain death by Neha Sharma.

Explained the following points:-

Necessity and importance of organ donation
Types of Donors
In case of natural death which tissues can be donated
In case of Brain death which organs and tissues can be donated
Myths on organ donation
Importance of Donor card

It was indeed an amazing session all the students were highly motivated and they love to share their wish with their families.
