MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Faculty of Nursing for an Angels of Change impact program on November 15th, 2018. Mr. Siva Shankar (Helpline Executive, MOHAN Foundation), Mr. Arun Jose, and Ms. Kaviya P (Interns from Madrs Medical Mission) represented MOHAN Foundation.

The program began with an inaugural ceremony where Mr. Siva Shankar was felicitated by Prof. Dr. M. K Padmanabhan (Honorable Vice Chancellor, ACS Medical College and Hospitals); Mr. Arun Jose was felicitated by Dr. A. Shaw Navaz Khan (Medical Director, ACS Medical College and Hospitals) and Ms. Kaviya P was felicitated by Dr. Pregna Dolia (Dean, ACS Medical College and Hospitals). The welcome address was given by Prof. Dr. Hema V H (Principal, ACS College of Nursing).  Dr. A. Shaw Navaz Khan gave the inaugural address and Prof. Dr. M K Padmanabhan spoke about organ donation. The program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Thenesha (Asst. Professor, ACS College of Nursing).

A puppet show and a stage play themed on organ donation were performed by the Angels of Change volunteers. A stall was put up in the front office area of ACS hospital for the event and models of various organs made with ashes and paintings related to organ donation from MOHAN Foundation were displayed. Around 150 people visited the counter and viewed the Life Before Ashes exhibit. 113 persons showed their consent towards organ donation and were provided with donor cards. All the respected dignitaries of ACS Medical College and Hospital have shown their support towards the noble cause by registering as donors.

Certificates were given to the Angels of Change volunteers as a token of appreciation. MOHAN Foundation thanks Dr. Hema V H (Principal, ACS College of Nursing), students and other faculty for inviting and supporting this initiative.
