An one day organ donation awareness talk was organized by Dainik Bhaskar under the aegis of MFJCF Team at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur on 10th September 2018.

Dr Kishor Pujari CEO, Dr Sanjay Gandhi (cardiac surgeon), Dr Gulshan Mukhiya (Nephrologist), Dr Chetan Mahajan (Nephrologist) attended the programme.

Ms Bhavna Jagwani (convenor MFJCF), Ms Pallavi(Mohan Foundation, Delhi) Dr Hivani Sharma represented the team.

Ms Pallavi was the resource person for the talk. Ms Pallavi introduced the concept of organ donation and transplantation. The concept of brain death was elaborated upon with the help of a video that cleared the difference between coma and brain stem death.

 Ms Bhavna also shared her story how she started this concept. Dr Hivani shared the story of first organ donor of Rajasthan with the audience.

The session ended up with few question answer session and group photograph. Close to 150 Doctors, paramedical staff and medical students attended the session.
