MOHAN Foundation was invited by Sterlite Technologies on 13^th Aug 2018 to conduct an awareness session for their employees.

Mr. Ayan Chatterjee (CSR head of Pravin Agarwal Foundation) introduced the subject of organ donation to their employees. Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Director of Sterlite Technologies addressed the employees the importance of thinking about organ donation and how it can save the lives of many.

Mrs. Jaya Jairam then introduced MOHAN Foundation, its activities and mission. She went on to cover the concepts of organ donation, how it can be done, why it has become important and who can donate. She also discussed a few myths and facts pertaining to organ donation. She shared her own story of how she was saved by her mother’s loving act of kidney donation. She lastly appealed to all to consider organ donation as a personal decision and thereafter encouraged them to talk about this with their family members.
