On the occasion of world organ donation day 13^th Aug 2018 important archeological buildings of Jaipur mainly Albert Hall, Amber Fort, Hawamahal and Statue Circle were illuminated in green at night. This was done to spread awareness for organ donation among the people. The Departments oftourism and art and culture gave its nod for illuminating monuments with green color for spreading awareness about this noble cause. These are the places which are visited by 1000 of tourists’every day.

Rajasthan is the state where 29 families had donated organs of their dear and near ones after they were declared brain dead and were transplanted into 110 persons to give them new life.
