An awareness talk on organ donation was conducted by MOHAN Foundation on 1^st June, 2018 at Andhra Bank, Kilpauk Branch, Chennai. Mr. T. S. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive was deputed for the session. All the 5 employees of the branch attended the session.

Mr. Siva Shankar put light on the possibility to save lives even when we are gone. He explained the concept through flipcharts and gave examples of donations. He clarified the difference between natural death, brain death and coma.  During the presentation some questions were asked by employees:  

1. If anyone is need of organ, how to approach the organ donor?
2. If a person is an organ donation and his relative is in need of organ, why can’t the organ be given to the relative?

After the session all the employees took donor cards and expressed their support for organ donation.
