On 23^rd January 2012, Mr. Dasaradhan who was getting married to Ms. Uma, invited MOHAN Foundation to give an awareness talk on Organ Donation during his wedding reception.  On that day, Transplant Coordinators Mr. Prakash & Mr. Vijay explained the procedures and the concept of Organ Donation to them and also to the relatives who were present during the reception.

After the talk, the couple pledged their organs. Along with Mr. Dasaradhan, nine other people including his father, mother, and his two cousins also pledged their organs.

Since his childhood, Mr. Dasaradhan who has been physically challenged by nature, but not by his heart, has an innate ability to do social work. He is equipped with good qualities and wanted to do something different during his wedding. Earlier during the reception, Mr. Dasaradhan made school students do yoga and bharathanatiyam performance for the people who came for the wedding.

After the reception, Mr. Dasaradhan gave away plant saplings to all who came for the reception and advised them to grow the saplings. Next morning, the couple donated their blood in Pondicherry Government General Hospital and told everyone that it is high time that the general public come forward to pledge their organs.
