Organ Donation Information Desk at Maharashi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, Nagpur – Day 2 |

Maharashi Karve Mahila Education Society, Nargundarkar Layout Khamla road, Nagpur, organized an Organ Donation information desk on 10th February 2018. Mrs. Ragit, member of the society invited to MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur to speak to the visitors and clear all doubts. Mr. Bulu Behera transplant coordinator MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur set up the desk and gave information to visitors on the Importance of Organ donation to save another life; Types of organ donation; Difference between natural death, coma and brain death. He also explained the role of ZTCC for organ allocation & he requested to use MOHAN Foundation’s website and helpline number. The audience was about 82 people, 33 visited the stall and 3 of them signed the consent form & collected their donor cards. Question asked by visitors: How will MOHAN Foundation know after my death?
