On 29.01.2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum –Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Atal Seva Kendra, Hathoj Panchayat, Jhotwara, Jaipur.

Dr. Amla Batra and Mr. Roshan Bahadur represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mrs. Suman Kumari, Sarpanch and Mrs. Shushila Devi, Gram Sevak along with 20 villagers, 30 students of class 11 and 12^th   and 20 MANREGA female employees attended the session and got sensitized about noble cause.

Dr. Amla Batra given a wonderful talk with the help of presentation and video based on organ donation and described the concept of organ donation as well as brain death which was highly appreciated by the villagers and students.

Some important questions were asked and answered by members of MFJCF- Navjeevan team.

1. How we can become an organ donor?
2. What is the difference between coma and brain death?
3. If someone is suffering from kidney failure and earlier his family member donated organs after declaring brain dead, will he get priority anyway?

After the session Sarpanch and Gram Sevak thanked MFJCF- Navjeevan team members to conduct such awareness talk and pledged for their organs. 20 villagers took the donor card and posed with organ donation message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION”
