We are happy to announce that a “One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme” under the aegis of National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Regional Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (ROTTO) Mumbai, is being organised by MOHAN Foundation and Nodal Officer, Chhattisgarh Human Organ Transplant organization,Raipur from 2nd to 6th February 2018 at Dr. B. The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counselling and coordination by transplant coordinators. The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre. In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programmes to suit the needs of these health care professionals.
