Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd invited MOHAN Foundation to deliver a talk on ORGAN DONATION on November 5, 2011.

 

The employees of Orchid Pharma pledged for Organ Donor Card after a brief talk on the concepts of Organ donation & Brain Death. A considerable number of people were aware of organ donation, but only a few knew about brain death. After the talk, the floor was opened for questions, clarifications and suggestions. The participants were immensely curious and raised a lot of questions about organ donation. The employees interacted enthusiastically and gave some suggestions on how to reach out to the public. “The Government can screen ad spot or short movies on organ donation through media which will reach the public who live in remote areas” said an employee.  

 

“Indeed, the whole session was useful and it was an eye-opener for all of us. The people who work in this field are doing a remarkable job by helping someone get a new life. We deeply appreciate and salute them” said an employee.

 

The event was organised by Ms.Mable Nancy, Industrial social worker of Orchid Pharma. They expressed their gratitude and support for this noble cause – “ORGAN DONATION”.
