MOHAN Foundation participated in Human Chain formation as part of Maha Avayavdan Mahotsav organised by Govt of Maharashtra |

On the occassion of Maha Avayavdan Mahotsav the Govt of Maharashtra organised a Human Chain on 29th August 2017 at 7.30 am from Murli Devra Chowk opposite Air India Building onwards (4 kms).
Mrs.Jaya Jairam along with MOHAN Foundation’s 25 Angels of Change student volunteers from Maharshi Dayanand College, Parel as well as from Yerala Medical College, Kharghar participated in the Human Chain holding posters and banners with wonderful messages on organ donation. The atmosphere was electric and enthusiastic.
Many NGOs, hospitals and medical college students and professors participated in the event, while braving the pouring rain at Marine Drive. The Chief guests included Hon. Minister, Mr.Girish Mahajan, Asst. Director at DHS, Dr Gauri Rathod and the DMER, Dr.Pravin Shingare. Other dignitaries included deans of various government medical colleges.
The event culminated with a walk to the G M College Gymkhana, where Hon. Minister Mr. Girish Mahajan addressed the gathering and handed over awards to winners of various competitions from various medical colleges. |
