On 07^th August 2017, Monday MOHAN Foundation team met the marketing team  of Johnson & Johnson Tamil Nadu for an awareness talk on organ donation. This year the management decided to encourage learning about a noble cause for their members. This was the concluding part of their team building activity and was conducted at Hotel Green Park, Vadapalani. The program started with a formal introduction note and theme introduction. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde, Mr. Siva Shankar and Mr. Jayaprakash Daniel represented MOHAN Foundation.

Dr. Hemal gave the awareness talk on organ donation and also discussed in detail about the concepts of organ donation namely Why, What, When, Types, Causes, Myths etc. This session gave an eye opening to the participants which resulted in good number of voluntary registration for pledging for oragn donation.  At the end of the awareness talk MOHAN Foundation brochures and help-line stickers were distributed and 40 staff  came forward to opt in for organ donation.

A few members had registered as donors before this talk and knew of the process on online registration. A couple of employees had experienced cornea donations within their family.  They shared their experiences. This helped to bring the concept closer to the other team members.
