On 10^th April, 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 38 Students from various parts of Punjab, college students, patient care attendants, home nursing and bus conductors participated in the session.

Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ donation and brain death by Ms. Deepika Arora

In this talk she explained the following points: -

• Organ Donation Statistics in India
• Myths about organ donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Organ donation and its types - Live & Deceased donation
• Importance of Donor card
• MOHAN Foundation mission & vision

The entire students group was so energized that they support Organ donation movement in a big way. It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked various questions on organ donation.

Two among the participants was having a MOHAN Foundation donor card which was nicely laminated by them.

Around 20 participants pledged their organs by signing the donor card.
