On 10^th January, 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms. Parminder Kaur, NSS Program Officer of Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-20/D, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their students at the NSS camp of their school. Approximately 100 students from class 12^th attended the session.

Students were given an introduction & presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Deepika Arora. The talk focused on concepts of organ donation and transplantation.

Explained the following points:-

Necessity and importance of organ donation

Types of donors

In case of natural death which tissues can be donated

In case of brain death which organs and tissues can be donated

Myths on organ donation

Importance of donor card

After the session, Ms. Parminder Kaur, NSS Program Officer motivate the students in a big way and promised that they will definitely work on this cause and asked to take pledge for organ donation.
