Setting A Record And An Example
Mr. Sreedhar of Muvva Arts performed in a programme continuously for 13 hours setting a record and it was validated by Limca Book of World Records. On 2nd May, the programme started at 7.00 am at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Hyderabad, and concluded at 9.00 pm. He performed dance, played drum and sung folk songs without a break.
BJP Leader, Mr. Kishan Reddy, Congress leader, Mr. M.V. Ranga Rao and CPI member, Dr. D. Sudhakar, attended the closing ceremony and honoured Mr. Sreedhar.
At the end of the programme, Mr. Sreedhar set a record of sorts. Not only did he entertain the audience with music for 13 hours non-stop, but also set an example to the society. He pledged his organs and handed the Donor Card to Mr. K. Raghuram, Convenor – Andhra Pradesh of MOHAN Foundation.
