Observational Visit By Students Of M.Sc. (Nursing) From Nizam’s Institute Of Medical Sciences
Twenty seven students of M.Sc. Nursing from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences visited MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad office for a one day observational visit on 20th April, 2011.
Mr. Raghuram, Convenor of MOHAN Foundation, made presentations on (a) organ donation and the journey of MOHAN Foundation (b) Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994, and (c) working in a positive environment.
Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, made a presentation on “Role of Transplant Coordinators and the training of Transplant Coordinators at MOHAN Foundation”. She invited the candidates to obtain training in Transplant Coordinators, and choose this profession as their career option. She urged the candidates that this is a growing field and that the potential is immense.
Six candidates showed keen interest in training and expressed their willingness to attend one month training program after their M.Sc. program that concludes in October 2011.
