On 18^th August 2016, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session at TCS in their offices at Ramanujam IT Park, Taramani.  Dr. Hemal Kanvinde and Ms. Rajashree represented MOHAN Foundation.  It was part of Maitree activity of TCS and was coordinated by Mr. Pradeep.

Dr. Hemal Kanvinde gave a talk on the concepts of Organ Donation. She spoke of the need for organs. She busted all the myths that people have about organ donation.  She explained the process of donation and coordination during a transplant.

More than 60 staff members attended the session and all of them picked a donor card.

There was a lively Q&A on costs, organ allocation, diseases and post transplant life.  Mr Pradeep thanked the staff of MOHAN Foundation for their efforts.
