Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Pvt Ltd. in association with Dewan Housing Finance Ltd hosted an event - ‘Trusts: Growth Story in India’ on March 18, 2011 at GRT Grand, Chennai. MOHAN Foundation was invited to speak on “Challenges faced by Trusts”. Mr. Sanjay Shroff, Advisory Board Member, MOHAN Foundation addressed the gathering and shared his views about the problems and challenges commonly faced by NGOs. He discussed about the attitude & mindset of society towards an emerging concept, level of awareness, advocacy, resource crunch and sustainability. Financial Management of Trusts for Growth and Taxation & its impact on Trusts were the other topics covered by eminent speakers. About 60 representatives from various NGOs / Trusts participated in the programme.
