On 13 October, 2015, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Powar, RTO officer, Nagpur branch to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers who apply for vehicle registration and driving license

Mr.Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ donation. In his talk he explained the following:

• Importance and need of Organ donation
• Types of donations –Live and deceased donation
• Difference between Natural death, Coma and Brain Death.
• THO Act and myths related to Organ donation
• Eye donations
• Body donation
• Importance of Donors card, Helpline number and website.

It was a very interactive session. The participants raised queries about organ sharing and allocation, contradictions in donating organs and tissues, whom to be contacted in case of emergency. In the  talk 45 participants were present.
