"INTERS”, the  Alumni of Don Bosco Youth Center, Broadway invited MOHAN Foundation to give Organ Donation awareness talk to their members on “INTERS DAYS” celebration on 15.03.2015. The initiative was taken by Bro. Nicholas, In-charge, INTERS.

Ms. Kavitha. S, Marketing Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation was deputed to address the group. Since the group was not aware of the concept, so the coordinator requested the organizer to interact with the young members a day before to explain the concepts of organ donation. On the request Bro. Nicholas organized a separate session on 14.03.2015.

 Ms. Kavitha spoke to the 25 youth gathered on following topics

• Activities of MOHAN Foundation across the country to strengthen the Deceased Organ Donation programme
• Types of Organ Donation - Live and Deceased Donation
• Difference between Brain death and Coma
• Donor card  & Importance of the consent from the family
• Tissues and organs  that can be donated
• Information sources -Helpline Number and websites 

Many question were raised after the session, all doubts were clarified.

The next day of INTERS Day Celebration (15.03.2015), the Organ Donation forms were submitted to Ms. Kavitha. She thanked  the organizers and gave a brief introduction on Organ Donation to the audience who were gathered.  Nearly 100 group of audience attended the Inters Day, and all promised to support Organ Donation.
