Dr. Ravi Wankhede was invited to give a lecture on Organ Donation as part of NSS activity of Unit II, of Lady Amritbai Daga College for Women of Arts, Commerce & Science and Smt. Ratnidevi Purohit College of Home Science & Home Science Technology, Seminary Hills, Nagpur on 14th January 2015. The talk was held at D. J. Deshmukh Hall of B. Tech Building.

Dr. Hema Gedam Programme Officer - NSS Unit II introduced the speaker. Dr. Wankhede gave detailed talk through a powerpoint presentation on historical, social, ethical, religious and medical aspects of the subject. He laid emphasis on the importance of a know how of the subject which would in turn help some people get life saving organs.

Dr. Mrs. Shyamala Nair Principal of the College summed up the program, after thanking Dr. Ravi Wankhede for giving such an important message, hitherto unknown to the general public. She said the talk would certainly help spread awareness and the importance of the subject. The program ended with the Staff and students singing  the National Anthem.
