On 17^th December 2014  the South East Central Railway Pensioners Association’s, General Secretary Mr. J. Narayana Rao invited MOHAN Foundation to speak to the members  about decease organ donation on the occasions of National Pensioners Association Day. The talk was organised in the  open ground of the Association office at Motibag, Nagpur. 

Dr. Ravi Wankhede,  MOHAN Foundation Nagpur Centre director  explained the following  to the  80  participants. 

• Meaning of Organ Donation and whole body donation
• Types of Organ Donation
• Causes of Kidney failure
• Causes of brain death
• Organ   and tissues that can be donated while living, and after natural death & brain death
• Information about ZTCC

After the talk there was a lively discussion and some questions raised were:  

• Some people are doing commercial dealing that is legal or ill-legal?
• What is the process of eye donation & skin donation?

Dr. Ravi Wankhede clarifires all the doubts.
