To celebrate film actor  Ranjinikanths’ birthday, The Rajanikanth Fan Club Association, K K Nagar organized an Blood Donation and Organ Donation Camp. They invited MOHAN Foundation to put up an information desk. The event was organized at Chairmans’ Kalyana Mandapam, K K Nagar on 7^th December 2014.

To grace the event few celebrities like Mr. Delhi Ganesh and Mr. Rajendran were invited for inaugurating the function. Following that Blood donation camp, Eye screening camp and Organ Donation camp started.

Ms. Kavitha, Marketing Coordinator and Mr. Ananth, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation manned the stall. The following topics were discussed by one to one interaction:

• Concepts of Brain Death and Organ Donation
• Live and Cadaver Donation
• Organs that can be transplanted
• Myths and facts on Organ Donation
• Importance of counsellors
• About MOHAN Foundation Activities
• Information sources – the website and helpline number

Nearly 21 people came forward to sign in the donor card.
