Talk on Organ donation to DVVG at RSI, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad |

On 21st November 2013, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Major General A B Gorthi to talk on Organ donation to Defence Veterans Voluntary Group (DVVG).
By following their monthly calendar, Defence veterans had met at RSI, Sainikpuri to discuss their routine issues. In this meet Maj.Gen A B Gorthi spoke on Living will and Dr.Bhanu Chandra, MOHAN Foundation spoke on importance of Organ donation, difference between Coma and Brain death, Myths, Donor card and MOHAN Foundation’s activities.
Around 50 members attended the session and we distributed donor cards and information brochures. Every one expressed keen interest to donate their organs and picked up Donor cards. |
