Mr. Prakash K. Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness programme at Rishi Men Beauty Parlour, Old Washermenpet on 24th November 2013 on the Concept of Organ Donation. It was one to one interaction and the youth were very interested to learn about organ donation.

During his talk he explained the following topics,

• What is Natural/cardiac Death?
• What is Brain Death?
• Who can be a donor?
• What are the differences between Brain death and Coma?
• What organs and the tissues can be donated after Brain Death?
•  Importance of the Donor card?

He also explained about the donor card. Totally 24 participates pledged their organs by signing the donor card.
