On 14th February 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Training Supervisor, District Red Cross Society,Sector-15,Panchkula Haryana to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for their First Aid Students. Around 30 participants from various parts of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh attended the program. The participants included college students, patient care attendants, home nursing, nannies and bus conductors.

Participants were given the presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms.Neha Sharma.

In this talk she explained the following points: -

• Organ donation types and who can be a donor
• She explained 5 myths on organ donation with their corresponding reality check
• Difference between circulatory death and brain death
• Real life story of an organ transplant patient was shared with the participants
• Importance of the donor card
• How to pledge or sign up for organ donation on MOHAN Foundation's website

It was an interactive session. All of them took the donor Cards. They would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death.
