A charity golf tournament was organized by MOHAN Foundation aimed to support both organ donation. MOHAN Foundation has been pioneering the cause of Organ Donation since 1997.  Held on Feb 15, 2025, the venue  Hyderabad Golf Association Club in Hyderabad buzzed with energy as golf enthusiasts gathered for a noble cause. It was a well-attended tournament with the participation capped at 102 players. Special invitee for the tournament was Mr. Karhun Nanda, a heart transplant recipient from New Delhi. He served as a powerful reminder of how organ transplantation can save and transform lives. The event was supported by Mr Swastik Bihani and Mr Ram Naranayan with the referee being Mr Sreedhar Rao.

Format for the tournament was Stable Fort Format - 2 ball scramble format (a popular golf team game where the better score of two partners counts for each hole). With tee off at 12.15 pm everyone went to their tee and after playing the 18 holes they returned by 5.30 pm. The results of the  tournament as given by tournament referee, Mr Sreedhar Rao  and announced by Mr Swastik Bihani.

Longest Drive at 17th Hole: M r Sanjay Gaddipatti

Straight Drive on 13th Hole: Mr.  Sankeerth N  

Apart from these trophies there was a fun lucky dip with prizes of amazon coupons, golf bags and a golf tournament in Thailand.

The tournament was supported by Vamsiram Builders, NMDC, Dodla Dairy,  Azad Engineering, Kapil Steel, Volvo, BLS Sports Akshaykalpha Organnic and  Ballantine among other esteemed organizations.

The evening ceremony was graced by speeches from Dr. Sunil Shroff, Managing Trustee of MOHAN Foundation, Mrs Lalitha Raghuram Country Director MOHAN Foundation,  Dr Sandeep Attawar, transplant surgeon and Mr Karhun Nanda who commended the participants and supporters for their contribution to this life-saving cause. MOHAN Foundation appreciates the efforts of the Management and Staff of Hyderabad Golf Association Club for their efforts in making this event a success.
