The one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Transplant Coordination and Grief Counselling (PGDTC) batch of 2024 successfully completed their course in December 2024. This year long course provided the participants with the knowledge and skills required to negotiate the complexity of transplant coordination and grief counselling.
Course Structure and Delivery: With bi-monthly contact sessions, the online program supported candidates in self-paced learning. These online webinars concentrated on several important subjects, including:
Experts across the country were on the faculty board. The webinars comprised several activities including quizzes, case study discussions, and interactive sessions to guarantee active participation and engagement. These exercises gave participants the chance to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, thus, promoting a better awareness and skill development.
The course structure included online assignment submissions. The final examination was conducted on 15th December, 2024. Successful candidates (who had scored 60% marks) were awarded their course completion certificates.

Initially, we were just keen to acquired knowledge on this tangent but as we moved steadily towards the year end, I pretend myself working as an important member of the transplant team extend as possible support to families connected with this life changing process making us much more sensitive.
