On January 20, 2025 ARUWYE Foundation organized an awareness on Organic Farming and Healthy Eating for the community members of MN Chatram village of Panayancheri Gram Panchayat, Ellapuram Block, Tiruvallur District. MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to create awareness on organ health and organ donation at the event.

Mr Naveen, Community Mobilizer, ARUWYE organized the community members of MN Chatram, the gathered members were from agricultural background and most of them were daily wage agricultural labourers and  small landowners.  Ms. Kamala, spoke on organic farming, avoiding chemical pesticide and weedicide, preparing compost and other products from home at zero cost. Mr Ganesh C, MOHAN Foundation added how consumption of unhealthy food leads to organ failure and how organ donation gives a second chance of life. He then briefed on types of donations, brain death, how to get a transplantation, government schemes, myths and scams, and effective usage of organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100. Information  brochures on organ donation were distributed to all the 53 farmers who participated.
