On November 30, 2024, Ms. Sakshi conducted a sensitization session on organ donation at a local church, followed by the establishment of an awareness stall. The session, which drew around 200 attendees, aimed to educate the community about the significance of organ donation and the steps involved in the process. Ms. Sakshi provided detailed insights on how organ donation saves lives, addressing myths and misconceptions surrounding the topic. The event encouraged open discussions, and participants were given the opportunity to ask questions, ensuring they understood the impact of their decision. After the session, 10 individuals took the pledge to donate their organs, marking a significant step towards raising awareness in the community. The event successfully highlighted the importance of organ donation, fostering a spirit of social responsibility and inspiring others to consider this life-saving act.
