On December 05, 2024, PSP Nursing College, Oragadam and MOHAN Foundation commemorated the 57th anniversary of the first successful heart transplantation December 03, 1967.

Students participated in Poem writing, Poster designing and Rangoli competition as part of an awareness activity.   A total of 105 students of first and second year nursing course participated in the event. 

All the students expressed their feelings in the form of words and arts. 33 participated in Poem writing, 46 in poster designing and 26 teams in rangoli competition. Dr Hemal Kanvinde, Ms Arshiya & Mr Ganesh from MOHAN Foundation and Ms. Muthu Selvi (Professor) and Ms. Mydhili. K.V.R (Tutor) PSP Nursing College judged the students' art based on creativity, concept and explanation. Four best arts from each category were selected.

This was the second event in the nursing college after an awareness talk done in the month of April 06, 2024. MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude towards Dr. Abirami, Principal, PSP Nursing College, for organizing the event, and the staff Mrs. Muthu Selvi V, Mrs. Mydhili. K.V.R, Ms. Kamali M, Ms. Madimi Mounika of the college for their support. The prize distribution shall be done in a major event in the college on a later date.
