In collaboration with the Makkal Needhi Maiam office, MOHAN Foundation set up an information desk on 7th November, 2024 on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's 70th birthday. The political party has been supporting the cause of organ donation for more than 5 years. The event aimed to engage with individuals, clarify their doubts, and encourage them to become organ donors.

Ms. Arshiya Fathima H (Helpline Counsellor, MOHAN Foundation) & Ms. Evanglin Gifta (MMM Intern) manned the information desk. Information brochures, green ribbon, registration forms, donor cards and a standee were placed at the desk.  Several attendees expressed their interest in further spreading awareness about organ donation. A few participants agreed to organize awareness programs in their workplaces and schools to educate others about the importance of organ donation. Most of the queries were about age and eligibility as a donor, donor cards, how to get a transplant and the high costs of transplants. 

Around 100 party members visited the help desk and 16 registered as organ donors.  MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude towards Mr Arunachalam, MNM General Secretary, Mr Mayil Vaganan, MNM State co-ordinator Entrepreneur Wing, Mr Rajan MNM State Secretary for the opportunity and hospitality.
