On October 16, 2024, a vibrant and energetic Garba Night was organized by Ms. Riya at Oberoi International School, attracting a large and enthusiastic audience. The event, which celebrated the spirit of culture and community, also served as a platform to raise awareness about the life-saving cause of organ donation.

The evening began with an impactful speech by Ms. Jaya, an organ recipient, who shared her personal journey and the transformative experience of receiving an organ transplant. Her story highlighted the profound importance of organ donation, inspiring the audience to reflect on the potential impact they could have in saving lives through donation. Ms. Jaya’s heartfelt words resonated with the attendees, making the message even more powerful.

In addition to the speeches, Ms. Sakshi, who was invited to the event, took the opportunity to engage with visitors at the organ donation awareness stall. She provided valuable information about the organ donation process, answered questions, and helped raise awareness among attendees about the critical need for organ donors. The presence of the stall allowed participants to learn more about the topic in an interactive and informative manner.

At the conclusion of the Garba Night, Ms. Sakshi took a moment to felicitate Ms. Riya for her efforts in organizing the event and for supporting the cause of organ donation. She also recognized Mr. Rakesh, the DJ, who generously played music free of cost for the event, as well as the entire team for their outstanding contributions. As a token of appreciation, both were presented with certificates of recognition for their role in supporting the Anudaan Fund and raising awareness for the organ donation initiative. Total of 150 students attended the session and 10 of whom taken pledge.
