On October 25, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up an information desk and conduct an organ donation awareness talk at the Diwali Mela held at Croma, Kharghar.

The event was organized by Mrs. Mera Binani from the We Connect Club, who invited the MOHAN Foundation to support this important cause.

Throughout the Diwali Mela celebration, announcements were made to inform attendees about the organ donation information desk. Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, Public Education Counsellor of the MOHAN Foundation, delivered a motivational talk on organ donation, covering key topics such as organ and tissue donation, the different types of organ donations, and addressing common misconceptions.

At the information desk, Ms. Prarthana and her team responded to all visitors’ queries, providing detailed explanations and clarifications. The response from attendees was very positive, with many expressing a willingness to pledge their organs. The MOHAN Foundation also distributed organ donor cards and brochures to further educate and engage the public.

The session saw approximately 365 participants, with 54 individuals filling out pledge forms to commit to organ donation. The event successfully raised awareness and encouraged greater support for the cause.
