Around 2023, Dr Rajkumari Jain of  Parola, Maharashtra started engaging communities to support eye donation.  In the past decade she has spoken to her peers, others in society, written about the topic and her work was appreciated by the leaders.  Among the accolades she has received are State and National awards from IMA, Lions Clubs etc,  for her social work.

With more than 10 years of selfless service with no expectations, she has received a new recognition as President's Gold medal instituted  by the Maharashtra State Ophthalmological Society .  This was given to her at their congress on Oct 20, 2024 at Solapur in the presence of more than 1000 delegates. MOHAN Foundation and all our Organ Donation Ambassadors congratulate Dr Jain for this award and wish her strength to take on more campaigns to promote Organ Donation.
