On August 13, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation for students at the Ayurvedic Department of G D Pol College, Kharghar. The session was arranged in coordination with Dr. Sanjeev Yadav, the Principal of the Ayurvedic Department.

Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi introduced the MOHAN Foundation and initiated a discussion on organ donation, addressing the mixed reactions from the students. She provided a comprehensive explanation of organ donation, including its necessity, the types of organs that can be donated, and the different types of donors. She also clarified the concepts of brain death and cardiac death, emphasizing the viability of organs after retrieval.

Additionally, Ms. Prarthana covered topics such as skin donation, eye donation, organ donation, and body donation. The session  was attended by 15 students  from the Ayurvedic Department, all of whom took pledge after the session.
