On 22nd August 2024, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 34 students from various parts of Punjab & Haryana, college students, patient care attendants, home nursing and bus conductors participated in the session.

Students were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma

In this talk she explained the following points: -

• Organ Donation Statistics in India
• Myths about organ donation
• Difference between natural death and brain death
• Organ donation and its types – Live & Deceased donation
• Importance of Donor card
• MOHAN Foundation mission & vision

 At the end, Ms. Neha Sharma gave the vote of thanks. Over all the session was very interactive where participants enthusiastically contributed to the discussions asked many questions. All participants raise their hands in the support of organ donation.
