On July 25, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation set up an information desk in the OPD area at Dr. Ambedkar Hospital & Research Centre. The event was part of a broader initiative to raise awareness about organ donation. In addition to the information desk, IGGMC medical students performed a street play to further engage and inform the public about the importance of organ donation.

The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Jaiswal, Head of the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM) at IGGMC. The street play and information desk successfully reached out to approximately 100 OPD patients, educating them about organ donation and its benefits. The awareness campaign also garnered active support from the medical community, with 10 doctors pledging to support organ donation.

Among the doctors who committed to organ donation were Dr. Parwati Nair, Dr. Kalyani Ekre, Dr. Gireeshma, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Prachi, and Dr. Alandari Pooja. Their pledges highlighted the personal and professional commitment to promoting organ donation.

To further support the initiative, the MOHAN Foundation displayed helpline number stickers on the notice board, providing patients and visitors with easy access to additional information and assistance regarding organ donation.
