On July 31, 2024, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness session at Salesforce Organization, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, and approached the MOHAN Foundation for an awareness talk on organ donation for their staff. Dr. Bhanu Prakash was the speaker, accompanied by the Jeevandan team. 

Dr. Bhanu Prakash started the session by asking a few introductory questions on organ donation, then introduced the MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:

• Organ donation and its need in society
• When and how does organ donation take place?
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Eye donation
• Does the donor card have any legal validity?
• How is the MOHAN Foundation associated with Jeevandan?
• The process of skin donation
• How to reach the MOHAN Foundation in case of death
• Organ allocation system in Telangana

Dr. Bhanu motivated the audience to pledge organ donations and explained the importance of a donor card. Brochures and donor cards were distributed at the end of the session. Mr. Rajshekhar team leader and all staff appreciated MOHAN Foundation’s activities and pledged their organs.

Nearly 70 participants attended the session.
